You can’t stay in your corner of the forest waiting for others to come to you. We have to go to them sometimes.
-Winnie the Pooh

I must admit that I live a bloody good life. My job is to visit mills, meet really cool, talented, resourceful, hard working people and buy the dopest, highest quality wood I have ever seen at any lumber store ever!

And the stories…they are just too good.  Duane Dewey needs to actually put a letter in the mailbox with a stamp and then wait to hear back via a letter with a stamp from the Amish regarding re-supplying cedar.

Mill trips are definitely my favorite part of this gig…but the second best part is telling customers all about where their wood came from and the good people involved.

I will be updating our online inventory and pricing soon so be sure to check it out and hope to see you all in the store soon.

And yes, I agree. This icy mix weather really stinks. Just give me snow.
