There is so much going at Lumbery that I will resort almost entirely to bullet points.
Last Week:
- Giant delivery of cedar from Yoder’s sawmill
- Giant delivery of cedar from Dewey’s sawmill
- Giant delivery of native plants from Rebel Hill Farm
- Barrel sauna install in Falmouth
- Wild Seed Project representative Andrea Berry dropped some major knowledge at our store.
- I came in 1st place for the 50+ age group at the Cape Elizabeth Family Fun Day 5K.
- 32 cedar garden beds were sold
This Week:
- Giant delivery of Tamarack/Hackmatack arrived from Maine Cedar Store
- The forklift got a flat
- Another giant delivery of Tamarack/Hackmatack arrived from Maine Cedar Store
- Giant delivery of raised bed mix from Coast of Maine soils
- Prep for Memorial Day Weekend sales – Grilling supplies, beer caddies, garden goods, etc.
- Started a giant sale on cedar shiplap and cedar 1×4 tongue and groove.
Next Week:
- Hosting every 4th grade class from Pond Cove Elementary over the course of 4 days to teach them about the importance of Local Wood and the Maine forest economy.
- Hosting the Honey Exchange on Sat. June 3 to teach patrons and interested parties an introduction to beekeeping.
- Assembling 3 outdoor showers, 2 custom arbors and 5 custom garden beds.
- And of course whatever else comes our way.
