That’s right my friend. I am brimming with excitement. Tomorrow Ryan and I are heading to the great north to visit some old mill friends and meet some new mill friends. We have our snowboards snagged to the Fuso just in case some mountains get in our way.
First we head to Rangeley area, then towards Presque Isle, then onwards to Houlton.
Our goals are to A) Pick up a big load of cedar not to mention some hardwoods and then B) See what other wooden wonders we can find: Tour these super cool little mills and learn about the folks who harvest and mill Maine trees.
In the interim we will be short staffed at our store and will unfortunately need to close early Tuesday, Wednesday and Thors-day. Most likely around 2ish. Many apologies for any inconvenience but when you see what we bring back you’ll have a hard time being upset with us.
