White Cedar Building Materials

Northern White Cedar also referred to as Eastern White Cedar is found in New England and Southern Canada.
Natural resins and oils make them resistant to insects, rot and decay.
As a result cedar is perfect for applications that come into contact with moisture and soil.

Features:

  • 5/4×6 Decking. Available in 8′ lengths.

    Eased edge smooth appearance.

    Available in #2 and #3 grade. The board’s appearance ranges from clear to knotty.

Features:

Rustic channel shiplap can be installed, depending on the side exposed, to appear with a nickel gap or flush seam.

Nickel gap side will have a 5” exposure with a ⅛” gap

240 linear feet per 100 square feet of coverage.

Flush side will have a 4 9/16” exposure

267 linear feet per 100 square feet of coverage.

3 grades available:

Clear-Almost completely devoid of knots and blemishes.

Mid-grade: Knotty appearance.

Camp-grade: Contains holes and defects; Perfect for fencing, wood sheds.
